Introduction

dassi is an AI browser agent Chrome extension. It lives in your browser’s side panel and can see, understand, and interact with any web page — automating tasks on your behalf.

What dassi can do

  • See your screen — dassi reads page content, understands layouts, and takes screenshots to verify its work
  • Take actions — click buttons, fill forms, type text, navigate between pages, and manage multiple tabs
  • Automate workflows — chain together multi-step tasks like researching across tabs, filling out applications, or extracting data
  • Write and edit — draft emails, summarize articles, rewrite text, and compose messages
  • Create tools — build mini dashboards, visualizations, and interactive widgets right inside web pages
  • Remember context — save knowledge about you and your preferences across conversations

How it works

  1. Install the dassi Chrome extension
  2. Sign in with your Google account
  3. Open the sidebar and start a conversation
  4. Ask dassi to help with any browser task — it plans, executes, and verifies the results

dassi connects to AI models like Claude, Gemini, and GPT. You can use managed credits (no API key needed) or bring your own OpenAI key.

Privacy first

dassi runs entirely in your browser. Your browsing data is only sent to the AI provider you choose, and only when you ask dassi for help. No browsing history, passwords, or personal data is collected by dassi.
